As a producer and DJ he was one of the guys responsible for establishing House Music in Germany. While he was a young graduated dipl. audio engineer, he spent many a sleepless nights in the recording studio and in the legendary Kontor Club where he was the main resident DJ.

His first Gold & Platinum Record status he achieved with Brooklyn Bounce, one of Menck´s early projects in the 90’s. In later years, as his musical career developed and inspired by his many international DJ gigs, Matty has moved away from the commercial influenced HandsUp style and has gone back to his roots, which lie unmistakably in the House Music (Tech House, Groove House, , G-House, Future-House, Bass House, Progressive House & Techno). Matty’s productions and DJ sets authentically capture his musical history and stand out both musically and technically. For more then 14 years, Menck is the main resident DJ at one of Germany’s most rated and international highly respected house-club HALO Hamburg and therefore responsible for the international high profile DJ-bookings. Menck has a significant share in the radio & tv network Electronic-Dance.TV & Club Sounds TV in cooperation with Sony Music. ”Everybody Be Somebody” (with Thomas Gold), was the most hyped track of 2009’s ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) and became one of the most successful dance tracks in 2009/10 worldwide.

Many of Menck’s tunes and collabs f.e. with DBN, Thomas Gold, Terri B!, Basti M on imprints like JOIA, TOOLROOM, WEPLAY, SIRUP, PINKSTAR, TIGER, KONTOR, IBIZA GLOBAL, PYRO, RUN-DBN, PROTOCOL, WARNER MUSIC, UNIVERSAL, 1st STRIKE Records raised to the top of DJ- & Beatport charts immediately and got support from high profile players like Danny Avila, Erick Morillo, Moguai, Plastik Funk, Thomas Gold, Stonebridge, Roger Sanchez, Tiesto. Oliver Heldens and many others. As a premiere release on one of the leading EDM labels Tiger Records Menck dropped a Deep House tune called ”New World Order”.

A fresh Ibiza Style Piano House track has been released again on Tiger Records in summer 2018. Menck´s latest remix works for names like, Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero & Vicetone, Watermat, deadmau5, Felix Jaehn & Mike Williams, FAUL & WAD, Joachim Garraud/Ridwello, Patric La Funk, Tom Novy & Jerry Ropero, Kate Ryan, Dario Rodriguez ft. Mr.V, Ben DJ & Hiisak, Federico Scavo, Maxim Schunk, Jones & Brock and Cosmo Klein founds also support by the international DJ A-league. Several No.1 Positions in Hypeddit House Charts. Lots of new productions & remixes are already in progress or awaiting to get released soon. Most new tracks and remixes found their premier through Menck´s dj-gigs at the WMC (Winter Music Conference) in Miami.

In 2014 Menck has celebrated his first show at the legendary Ministry Of Sound / London Summer 2015 Matty Menck was part of Europe´s Springbreak Island Festival at Croatia´s party hotspot Zrce Beach. 2018 Parookaville premiere, 2019, Bootshaus Cologne, Elements Festival & World Club Dome.
